How to Put on a Condom

Although condoms are regularly used and widely understood, the fact remains that many people don't know how to properly put one on. This article will teach you how to easily put on a condom to protect yourself against unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Condoms are available at many locations, grocery stores, pharmacies, drugstores, convenience stores, and health clinics. You can even get condoms online.

Although there are many brands of condoms to choose from, the latex or polyurethane are the most highly recommended for general use. Whatever brand you get should have an expiration date on it. Be sure to check that expiration date, and store the condoms in a cool, dry place.

Now for putting it on, first, check the package for a notch along the edge. This is to make opening the package easier. Apply pressure in opposite directions to each side of the notch to tear it open.

Now look to see which way the condom unrolls. If you have difficulty trying to unroll a condom or it doesn't seem to unroll easily, you may be trying to unroll it upside-down. Orient the tip so that it is facing up and the condom should easily unroll in the opposite direction.

Now place the condom on the tip of the penis and unroll it. If you accidentally begin to unroll a condom upside-down, don't take any chances, toss it and use a new one to ensure there are no rips or tears.

As you begin unrolling the condom down the penis, pay attention to the tip, and squeeze the air out. If you don't get this air out, the trapped air in the tip can cause the condom to break.

It is preferable to avoid completely unrolling the condom. If it covers more than three fourths of your penis that is enough. Now have your fun.

When you are done, after orgasm, you should withdraw the penis carefully while holding the condom at the base of the penis. Always hold on to the condom when you withdraw or your penis may slip out and leave the condom behind. That would mean you just lost your protection, avoid that.

Once the condom is removed you can discard it. Remember that condoms can only be used once.

P.S. Don't run out of condoms. There is nothing like the frustration of needing a condom and not having one so order condoms now and get ready to have fun.
