Penis Surgery Feedback

Subj: Peyronie's disease
Date: 1/2/2005
I have peyronies diease. What will help me is my question.
Claude

AskDocWeb: Peyronie's disease occurs in about one in every 100 men so first, know that you are not alone. Doctors prescribe a list of treatments including:
  • Vitamin E (400mg daily)
  • Paraaminobenzoic acid (12 grams daily)
  • Colchicine (.6mg daily for 2-3 weeks)
  • Fexofenadine (60mg daily for 3 months)
  • Injecting Steroids into the scar tissue
  • Injecting Collagenase into the scar tissue
  • Exposing the scar tissue to radiation treatments
None of the above treatments have been tested in controlled clinical trails. These treatments are just the doctor's best guess at what may be helpful.

If anyone reading this has been successfully treated for Peyronie, please help others by sharing your experience.

Subj: Locations for penis surgery
Date: 1/29/2005
Considering there are only 30 dos that will perform this surgery, could you notify me of these locations.
John

AskDocWeb: Until this type of surgery gets better results, no. There is currently no doctor that we would recommend for penis enlargement surgery.

Subj: Possible gains with surgery
Date: 2/9/2005
Hello, I am interested in penile surgery, although I am not sure if the gain in size would be worth it. Men in porn films always seem to have about 3 or 4 inches on me. I would like to know if it is possible to gain 3 inches in this surgery. If this is something that is not possible, what is the maximum size able to be gained through this surgery?
John

AskDocWeb: Gains with surgery of an inch and a half would be more realistic.

Subj: Not happy with 4 inch penis
Date: 2/16/2005
My penis is 4 inches long and I'm not happy with it, I want it to be at least 3 inches longer. Could this be possible? Is my penis small or average? Thank you,
Aldo

AskDocWeb: For an adult, 4 inches would be small. And yes, it is possible to increase your length with surgery but we don't recommend it.

Subj: Who does this?
Date: 2/23/2005
I'm still thinking about having the surgery done. Is there anyway I can find out if any surgeons in Lexington, Ky offer the surgery.
Eric

AskDocWeb: You could call a local urologist and ask him. If anyone is doing penis enlargement surgery locally, he would be the most likely person to know about it.

Subj: Very small penis
Date: 4/19/2005
My penis is very, very small. My girlfriend told me she is going to break up with me unless something changes. Any recommendations...
Tommy

AskDocWeb The changes she wants may have more to do with what you are doing (or not doing for her) rather than the size of your penis. Although if she judges you only on the size of your penis, let her go. You are better off without her.

Subj: Penis exercises?
Date: 6/16/2005
Other then surgery, what other methods can I try to lengthen and gain girth. I have tried a stretching machine which requires 8 hr usage daily. As well as pills but have had little success. Can excercises like jelching really work? Please help.
Ed

Askdocweb: Yes, exercises can work but it does take time. You can get a complete exercise program here.

Subj: Permanent effectiveness?
Date: 11/17/2005
Now days they have all kind of adds selling penis enlargement pills. Are there pills that would have permanent effectiveness once one stops taking them?
Saul

Askdocweb: Not that we are aware of, you would have to use something like a traction device for permanent results and you may not be able to afford that as they do cost.

Subj: Question about penis surgery
Date: 3/8/2006
Is it possible to inject fat or other substance into the penis while it is pumped up to its max inside of a penis pump? Would results be permanent and somewhat real after pump is removed and blood flows back into the body?
Derrick

Askdocweb: This does not sound like it would work, it would more likely just cause damage to your penis.

Subj: Penis augmentation surgery
Date: 4/4/2006
Would you happen to have the list of the 30 doctors that perform the penis augmentation surgery's...
Pablo

AskDocWeb: You'll need to get a referral from your local urologist.

Subj: Penis lengthening
Date: 4/21/2006
I'm surprised there isn't anything mentioned about penis lengthening via penis traction.
Bob

AskDocWeb: You can learn about that here.

Subj: Average size
Date: 5/9/2006
What is the average size of a mans penis?
Chris

AskDocWeb: You can read about that here.

Subj: Penis Augmentation Surgery
Date: 6/23/2006
I would like to have a consult with a doc regarding this Penis Augmentation Surgery. I am highly considering having it done in the AZ area. Thank you, Wayne

AskDocWeb: We suggest you start with your local urologist. He will know who does this in your area.

Subj: Smaller than average sized penis
Date: 2/16/2007
Being a man that's 6-2 with a muscular build I have always been extremely conscientious of having a smaller than average sized penis to the point of depression. It has continued to affect me in all relationships, even with my wife. I have worked out in many gyms, but never taken a shower in one. I want to be proud. Please recommend a reputable list of experienced doctors that might help me.
C

AskDocWeb: Even if we knew what city and country you live in, that kind of recommendation is just not possible here. If you think about it, about half of all men are smaller than average, and that will always be the case. It's much more important to learn that self-esteem is the value you place on yourself. That value is based on your past performance and current ability to do things for others. Remember, the size of your hand is not nearly as important as what you can do with it.
