Subj: Viagra and thyroid

Hi, I have a problem with my thyroid and have been prescribed Synthroid for the rest of my life. Is it necessary and/or ok to take Viagra to help maintain a heathy sex life? Thanks,

AskDocWeb: You should be able to take viagra with synthroid because it has no effect on the thyroid but check with your doctor to be sure there are no other reasons for not taking it.

Subj: blood in urine

I have blood droplets after I urinate, and blood stains in my underwear. No blood is in the urine, it comes after urination. I read this a possible side effect. Should I just let it pass?

AskDocWeb: No, this is something that should be reported to your doctor. He will be able to treat the problem although he may tell you that you need to stop taking viagra.

Subj: Viagra headaches

Every time I've taken viagara, even in small doses, I get severe headaches and basically feel gross for about half an hour, any ideas why? I'm only 33.

AskDocWeb: That's the way Viagra affects some people, and the headaches are not likely to go away with continued use. They are a reported side effect of Viagra.

Hi, I have been using viagara for a number of years. Recently I have developed chest pains after using the drug which have been quite noticeable and on the last occasion lasted for 4 days after taking it. Am I doing damage to my heart by taking this drug?

I'm a 30 year old man. I have never had any problems getting an erection. I would like to try Viagra out for the experience. My question is that I'm 6'3" and about 330 lbs. What dosage should I be taking for it to be effective?

Subj: Stuffy nose with Viagra

I took my first does of Viagra last night and my partner and I had amazing sex achieved an erection no problem, but got a stuffy nose, used some nasal spray and it went away. Should I lower the does from 50 to 25 or not take it at all? I have not been able to have sex for about 2 months because of ED, but the Viagara allowed me to get an erection and really enjoy sex again. By the way I am 37 year old health male, being treated for high blood pressure, using Verapamil ER, Dr gave me the sample of Viagara and said it was okay to use. Just concerned about the stuffy nose... your feedback would be appreciated.

AskDocWeb: Going to the lower dose may allow you to avoid the stuffy nose. And since Viagra lowers the blood pressure that doesn't sound like a problem for you.

I am a 25year old male. I am not diagnosed with ED. I have no heart problems or heart disease. I take Viagra from time to time to increase sexual ability with no side effects. Is anything wrong with doing this?

Subj: Viagra congestion

My husband, 62, gets good results from 1/2 a 100 mg. The fun is spoiled a little, however, when the poor guy can't *breathe*. Oxygen is a necessary component of the sexual experience. I mean, if you can't breathe, well, you're just no good to anyone, right? Kidding aside, is there a way to relieve this congestion -- herbal tea, or something?

I'm a 21 year old and have a problem with ED. My girlfriend tries to give me oral and I just do not get hard. I was considering asking my doctor about viagra, cause she is aggravated at my lack of performance for the past 2 months. I was wondering if it was ok for me to take viagra? and if so what dose??

Viagara works well, however, when you become aroused, you should continue sexual activity, if you wait more than 10 minutes for intercourse after arousal, you will lose the erection. If you female partner is heavy, have her on top, her tummy may get in the way, I'm not being funny.
