Thanks, Sam AskDocWeb: You should be able to take viagra with synthroid because it has no effect on the thyroid but check with your doctor to be sure there are no other reasons for not taking it. The doctor will only prescribe a quantity of about 9 pills at a time. Your question shows that for your safety, you need to learn more about this drug and how it works. Please read our report. Subj: blood in urine Date: 1/2/2006 I have blood droplets after I urinate, and blood stains in my underwear. No blood is in the urine, it comes after urination. I read this a possible side effect. Should I just let it pass? Dwayne AskDocWeb: No, this is something that should be reported to your doctor. He will be able to treat the problem although he may tell you that you need to stop taking viagra. Subj: Viagra headaches Date: 1/2/2006 Every time I've taken viagara, even in small doses, I get severe headaches and basically feel gross for about half an hour, any ideas why? I'm only 33. Ray AskDocWeb: That's the way Viagra affects some people, and the headaches are not likely to go away with continued use. They are a reported side effect of Viagra. Subj: Chest pains Date: 2/27/2006 Hi, I have been using viagara for a number of years. Recently I have developed chest pains after using the drug which have been quite noticeable and on the last occasion lasted for 4 days after taking it. You would have to be examined by a cardiologist to determine whether or not you have any heart damage. Don't risk your health, please visit your doctor ASAP. Subj: Recreational viagra? Date: 2/28/2006 I am a 20 year old and I was wondering if viagra can be used as a recreational drug... Micheal AskDocWeb: Of course that is not recommended but we know that it is happening. Viagra is a prescription drug for a reason, it can cost you your life if you have any heart problems. Subj: What dosage? Date: 3/8/2006 I'm a 30 year old man. I have never had any problems getting an erection. I would like to try Viagra out for the experience. My question is that I'm 6'3" and about 330 lbs. Should I lower the does from 50 to 25 or not take it at all? I have not been able to have sex for about 2 months because of ED, but the Viagara allowed me to get an erection and really enjoy sex again. By the way I am 37 year old health male, being treated for high blood pressure, using Verapamil ER, Dr gave me the sample of Viagara and said it was okay to use. Just concerned about the stuffy nose... your feedback would be appreciated. Michael AskDocWeb: Going to the lower dose may allow you to avoid the stuffy nose. And since Viagra lowers the blood pressure that doesn't sound like a problem for you. My doctor prescribed 100 mg dose Viagra because of erection problem is it safe? Sylvester AskDocWeb: It is probably safe since Viagra lowers blood pressure. Subj: Anything wrong with this? Date: 1/6/2006 I am a 25year old male. I am not diagnosed with ED. I have no heart problems or heart disease. I take Viagra from time to time to increase sexual ability with no side effects. Is anything wrong with doing this? Paul AskDocWeb: No one knows what the long-term use of Viagra is yet. We aren't here to tell you right from wrong. But to answer your question, it's okay if your doctor says so, otherwise no. Subj: Viagra congestion Date: 2/25/2007 My husband, 62, gets good results from 1/2 a 100 mg. The fun is spoiled a little, however, when the poor guy can't *breathe*. Oxygen is a necessary component of the sexual experience. I mean, if you can't breathe, well, you're just no good to anyone, right? Kidding aside, is there a way to relieve this congestion -- herbal tea, or something? Happy Wife AskDocWeb: About the only thing he can do is to stop taking the viagra. Breathing is good, let's keep him that way. Subj: Lack of performance Date: 9/29/2007 I'm a 21 year old and have a problem with ED. My girlfriend tries to give me oral and I just do not get hard. I was considering asking my doctor about viagra, cause she is aggravated at my lack of performance for the past 2 months. I was wondering if it was ok for me to take viagra? and if so what dose?? Sad AskDocWeb: You need to have a physical exam to make sure your body is healthy enough to take it first. And you will need to be directed as to how to use it. Subj: Viagra works well Date: 10/10/2007 Viagara works well, however, when you become aroused, you should continue sexual activity, if you wait more than 10 minutes for intercourse after arousal, you will lose the erection. If you female partner is heavy, have her on top, her tummy may get in the way, I'm not being funny. Peter Report - 2 - Page 3 We hope you find this page useful.
